Rowing Timer is a simple GPS enabled distance timing app. It is aimed entirely at rowing boats. It enables a hands free timing of a single distance. Run the app, then enter a distance from 10m to 10,000m (the default is 1000 meters) and click start. The app will then run a timer with a 7 second countdown allowing you to prepare to row. The timer stops either when you press the stop button OR when your device detects that you've moved the target distance. Note that the distance is measured in a straight line from the start point. The display shows an average split 500m pace - this is an average for the whole piece so it will appear slow at first if you go from a standing start. The app is deliberately very simple - there is no configuration - the only setting is the target distance on screen. NOTE: This app uses GPS at high accuracy which will drain your battery much faster than normal. Also, the screen remains on the whole time that the app is running.

Requires iOS 9.2 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
